The Wanblee Mart has been sold to RF Buche, who owns a small chain of Buche Foods and Gus Stop Convenience Stores.\u00a0 Buche will take over on April 28th<\/sup>, 2021.\u00a0 \u201cThe store will be closed on the 28th<\/sup> for inventory, team member orientations and other misc. tasks so our customers are not inconvenienced.\u00a0 However, the store will open back up on Thursday, April 29th<\/sup> for ordinary business and we look forward to meeting our customers,\u201d said RF Buche.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis Wanblee location is a great fit into our brand\u201d said Buche.\u00a0 I have been traveling on HI way 44 since I went to school at BHSU in Spearfish.\u00a0 I have always loved this store.\u00a0 It\u2019s clean and Dondee (owner of Wanblee Mart) and her employees have done a great job for the community\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe name will change to Buche\u2019s Gus Stop and as the location will be a great combination of a great convenience store and a quality grocery store\u201d said Buche.\u00a0 Buche says his short term plan will be to probably put in new pumps with credit card availability and an instore self-checkout for gas customers that will accept cash.\u00a0 He also plans to add a canopy which will provide more safety and lighting to the store.\u00a0 \u201cWe will also be bringing our RF\u2019s Rewards card so customers can earn discounts, free product and gas savings\u201d.\u00a0 Long term he hopes to do some additional branding and d\u00e9cor while bringing in new coolers and remodeling to bring more fresh produce, dairy and meat to the people of Wanblee.<\/p>\n

Buche Foods has a grocery stores in Pine Ridge, Mission, Gregory, Oacoma, Sisseton and Wagner.\u00a0 The company owns Gus Stop convenience stores in Wagner, Lake Andes, Mission and White River.<\/p>\n
