This RoundTable discussion will focus on Military Caregivers with a special emphasis on Vietnam-era Veterans as we approach National Vietnam War Veterans Day<\/em><\/p>\n

COLUMBIA FALLS,\u00a0ME.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 March 8, 2022 <\/strong>\u2014<\/strong> Wreaths Across America Radio is proud to announce the\u00a0first\u00a0in a series\u00a0of five roundtable\u00a0discussions for 2022. These discussions are focused on Veteran Healing through shared stories of resilience, purpose, and success. This first discussion will air on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 7 PM EST and can be heard exclusively on Wreaths Across America Radio<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The March RoundTable will focus on Military Caregivers with a special emphasis on Vietnam-era Veterans as we approach National Vietnam War Veterans Day on March 29. Guest panelists \u2013 listed below \u2013 will be interviewed by Wreaths Across America\u2019s Executive Director Karen Worcester<\/strong> and Director of Military & Veteran Outreach, former United States Army Captain Joe Regan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we approach Vietnam War Veterans Day it is important for us to understand that nearly half of our Veterans are over the age of 65. These men and women are more likely to be managing two or more chronic conditions when compared to their non-veteran peers and they account for over half of Veteran suicide deaths,\u201d said Reagan. \u201cTheir care often is the responsibility of their loved ones \u2013 spouses and children. All of us share a responsibility to fulfill President Lincoln\u2019s promise to \u201ccare for those who borne the battle\u201d and because of that Wreaths Across America is proud to bring together a team of people enabling those caregivers to help create a better understanding of the Veteran\u2019s, and caregiver\u2019s experience.\u201d<\/p>\n
