Also mention of a Memorial Garden in place of the old hospital. Many Native American residents of Rapid City would like to see the building be repurposed or possibly be turned into a Museum of Native American History. The building itself is a historic landmark in Rapid City which many of the local towns people believe should be kept for Historical Purposes. Some community members supporting the proposed resolution to preserve the building believe that once the building is demolished, a piece of History will be lost forever. (Photos By Christopher A.
