SAN FRANCISCO, CA \u2013 The Catalyst Project invites any and all to join their annual \u201cRethinking Thanksgiving\u201d webinar, this year titled \u201cDismantling Colonial Myths, Uplifting Indigenous Rights and Honoring Mother Earth.\u201d The webinar is offered virtually at no cost on Sunday, November 17, 2024, starting at 4:30 pm ET \/ 1:30 pm PT. American Sign Language, Spanish interpretation and live captions in English will be provided.<\/p>\n

This event celebrates the victories of Indigenous Peoples while confronting the ongoing impact of genocide and ecocide tied to settler colonialism and the military industrial complex from Turtle<\/p>\n

Island to Palestine. The event is organized through the Indigenous Solidarity Network.<\/p>\n

According to Catalyst, \u201cThis is an opportunity to reflect on how communities and individuals can support Indigenous Peoples and the vital role of Mother Earth Rights in our collective future.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the face of fascism, we reject the trap of despair. Together, we will root ourselves in Indigenous sovereignty, self-determination, resistance and solidarity with all oppressed Peoples and communities working to build resilience against the current climate catastrophe and systemic injustices.\u201d<\/p>\n
