Golden West Removing Aerial Cables in Pine Ridge
WALL – Golden West Telecommunications will be removing aerial cables from the town of Pine Ridge. Removal work will begin the week of August 23 and continue for up to two weeks depending on weather and other factors.
With the completion of the Fiber to the Home (FTTH) project in the town of Pine Ridge, the overhead cables are no longer in use. Fiber allows for greater bandwidth and speed and offers a more reliable and secure connection. All telecommunications services — including cable TV — are now delivered to Golden West subscribers in the town of Pine Ridge via the underground fiber optic infrastructure.
Please contact Golden West with any additional questions, concerns, or comments by calling 1-855-888-7777, option 3, and asking for the Engineering Department.
