Crow Primary Election for Executive Branch set for October 12, 2024

CROW AGENCY, Mont. – The Office of the Secretary, Levi Black Eagle, Crow Tribe, has officially Issued notice of the 2024 Executive Branch Primary Election for the Crow Tribal Executive Branch. The date is set for Saturday, October 12, 2024.

The following candidates have been certified by the Crow Tribal Secretary and Vice Secretary and the Election Commissions as qualified to have their names placed on the Primary Election Ballots.

Chairman:  Cody Chiefchild Meeks; Ty Ten Bear; Venessa BirdinGround; Frank Whiteclay (incumbent); Henry Small; Harry Lee Medicine Rock Above; Darwin Spotted Sr.; and Shawn Backbone Sr.

Vice-Chairman: Lawrence DeCrane (incumbent)); Neil White Hip; Wacey Real Bird; and Pat Alden Jr.

Secretary: Levi Black Eagle (incumbent); Donald A. Stewart, III; Everette A. Howe; and Nina Sanders.

Vice-Secretary: Darren Fritzler; Cody Hogan; and Channis D. Whiteman (incumbent).

On October 12, 2024 the voting polls will be open at the Apsaalooke Center (multi-purpose building) in Crow Agency, Mont. The two (2) Candidates receiving the highest number of votes in the Primary Election shall be on the General Election Ballot to be held Saturday, November 2, 2024.
