I.Am.Legacy
Legacy is a community-driven violence prevention and cultural empowerment organization dedicated to restoring safety, dignity, and voice within our communities. We work to interrupt cycles of violence, strengthen families, and create culturally grounded pathways for healing and leadership. Our approach centers Indigenous values, matriarchal leadership, youth voice, and community-based solutions.
Who We Serve
Legacy serves youth, young women, families, and community members who are disproportionately impacted by violence, gang involvement, substance misuse, systems involvement (CPS/DSS), and intergenerational trauma. We prioritize high-risk and high-need neighborhoods, Indigenous families, and women seeking culturally appropriate safety planning, advocacy, and support.
