Boarding School Lands Committee to meet
RAPID CITY—The Indian Boarding School Lands Committee will host a public meeting next week to provide an update on the working group’s efforts in developing a proposal involving three parcels of land in west Rapid City.
The meeting will be held next Thursday (July 8) at 6 p.m. at the Journey Museum Theater and is the first of two planned public meetings to be hosted by the committee. The session will include an update on the Indian Boarding School Lands Resolution Project. The meeting will provide an opportunity for questions and to gather input and feedback from the public. The meeting is open to the public and will be streamed live. Visit rcgov.org and click on the meetings tab. A date for the second public meeting has yet to be scheduled.
