PICKSTOWN—The Four Directions Restaurant at Fort Randall Casino won first place at the National Indian Taco Championships held in Pawhuska, Oklahoma in early October.
The winning chefs will be recognized and in honor of the tremendous victory, will bring back $5.00 Indian tacos and will celebrating the staff and their win on November 18.
The Four Directions Restaurant is located in the Fort Randall Casino and has been serving high quality food for 30 years. Besides the amazing Indian tacos, the prime rib, seafood buffet and weekend breakfast buffets keep the people full and content.
Jim Stone, General Manager of the Fort Randall Casino: “The Indian Taco Championship has been on our radar for a few years but something always popped up and prevented us from attending. We are so glad we finally got to go, it is an amazing event, extremely well ran, everyone was friendly and made it a great experience.”
Michelle Irving, Lead of Four Directions Restaurant: “We’ve always had a great response to our Indian taco and felt we could compete. I’m proud of our team and this win is credited to all the restaurant staff that have came before us. We’ll return next year and also are making plans to break the Guinness World Book of Record for the largest Indian taco next June during our annual pow wow.”
