Pejuta Waste O’Tipi – The Good Medicine Lodge open Saturday and Sunday to support community during cold weather
RAPID CITY – Pejuta Waste O’Tipi, The Good Medicine Lodge, in addition to its regular Monday– Friday services, will be open Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 522 Anamosa Street, offering a warm, safe space and essential support for relatives and community members during the ongoing cold weather.
This effort is made possible through the continued collaboration of Woyatan Lutheran Church, Wambli Ska Community Development Society, and The Warrior’s Lodge, working together to ensure individuals facing housing instability or severe weather hardship have access to care, warmth, and connection.
Citywide patrols will continue throughout the cold weather, checking on vulnerable relatives, providing wellness support, distributing supplies, offering transportation to shelter, and ensuring the safety of anyone seeking assistance.

Donations may be dropped off during open hours, or donors may contact us to coordinate.
