Employee Ownership

Employee ownership of a nonprofit enterprise is unusual. After all, what is the benefit of ownership if there is no profit or stock to share? In the traditional model, a Board of Directors represents the “ownership” of a nonprofit organization. At United Resource Connection, the employees are the Board of Directors. They are the ones who make the decisions about who runs the company, and who ultimately have the final say in matters of organizational governance.
